James Keith, also known as James Mortimer, shares a dynamic life story, blending a legacy of sports excellence with musical success. As the son of NRL legend Peter Mortimer and nephew to Chris and Steve Mortimer, James was part of a family celebrated for their achievements with the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, winning three out of five grand finals and making significant contributions to NSW and State of Origin rugby.
As the second eldest of five boys, James's upbringing was rooted in resilience and unity. He transitioned from dominating the footy field to captivating audiences nationwide with his music. Based in Orange, his debut album, "Life Is Good Today," quickly soared to the top of the ARIA Country Charts and secured #2 on the AIR charts, a notable feat for a newcomer.
"Life Is Good Today" serves as a powerful reminder to appreciate the beauty in everyday moments, a personal mantra that motivates James to pursue his dreams while being a role model for his children.
Today we talk about the release of his latest album ‘On Fire’, and his passion for the NRL, how being the best version of oneself is a journey that requires constant attention, the value of surrounding yourself with positive influences and avoiding negativity and, one of Jame’s favourites, the impact of Tony Robbins to turn your life around and setting goals to create the life you want.
